LALIVE ranked 12th among the top 30 arbitration practices worldwide by GAR
Global Arbitration Review (GAR), a leading arbitration publication, unveiled its list of the top 30 arbitration firms worldwide (GAR30) for 2015 yesterday.
LALIVE was ranked 12th, being the highest riser in the list, jumping 13 places when compared to 2014, and the only non-global firm (and only Swiss firm) listed. This is an excellent achievement for the firm.
A total of 130 firms were evaluated by GAR for this ranking, which took into account a range of criteria including the number of hearings and amounts at stake, the number of hours billed to arbitration, the number of arbitral appointments handled, the number of lawyers qualified for inclusion in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration (in which LALIVE has more than any firm in the GAR100 based in a single jurisdiction), and client feedback.
Michael E. Schneider, a founding partner of the firm and a world-renowned arbitration practitioner, collected the award at the 5th GAR Awards ceremony in Washington DC last night.
As a reflection of its established international profile, LALIVE has been ranked in GAR30 ever since its inception eight years ago.
