Why did you join the firm?

I had spent the last 12 years living abroad taking care of my family (three sons, husband and dog) and I was looking for an exciting new challenge where I could interact with people from all over the world.

How do you feel about your role?

I really enjoy my daily responsibilities as receptionist. It feels good to step in and offer a helping hand in organising client meetings, company events and anything else where my help is needed. People take the time to give kind words and feedback which is really motivating for me, brightening my days.

Who has helped and supported you to grow?

My job-sharing colleague has helped me in so many ways. I am also very thankful for the support I have had from the community of assistants at the firm. They have always been there to help and advise.

How would you describe the firm’s culture?

It is a very respectful environment. Everyone works hard but the firm is also family-oriented, supportive, open-minded, approachable, and caring. I have always felt respected, valued and supported.

What qualities are needed to succeed at LALIVE?

You need to be well organised, pro-active, always thinking outside the box and taking the initiative to solve problems and get the job done – even when stress levels are high.
