LALIVE announces management changes for 2025

The Partners are delighted to announce that Thomas Brown joined the Partnership on 1 January 2025. Tom takes over from Domitille Baizeau as Managing Partner, having served as the firm’s CEO since 2020. He brings 20 years of experience as a Partner in Project & Finance and eight years as Managing Partner of Allen & Overy Asia Pacific.

Tom will be supported by André Brunschweiler, appointed Deputy Managing Partner after four years as the Zurich-based Litigation Group Co-Chair, a role now entrusted to Dominik Elmiger, working alongside Nicolas Ollivier in Geneva. The Partners welcome Dominik and thank André for his important contribution to a highly successful and respected practice.

The firm also welcomes Domitille in her new role as Co-chair of the Arbitration Group, working alongside Melissa Magliana and replacing Joachim Knoll, to whom the Partners extend heartfelt thanks for his significant role in the group over the last four years.

The Partners are particularly grateful to Domitille for her outstanding leadership of the firm over the last 10 years, steering us through a period of considerable change and expansion. Her vision and dedication have ensured that the legacy of the Lalive brothers lives on today, enhanced in the contemporary LALIVE, a modern, diverse, forward looking firm, embracing today’s challenges.
