LALIVE’S Caroline Duret Recipient of Professor Walther Hug Prize

Caroline Duret, LALIVE trainee, was awarded the prestigious Professor Walther Hug prize. The award is granted yearly to a doctoral thesis recognised with the highest distinction by a Swiss university for its high scientific quality. Caroline’s doctoral thesis is entitled Causa Contractus, Definition and functions in classic Roman law. Caroline is also the recipient of the Joseph des Arts prize granted by the University of Geneva for the best doctoral thesis in 2022.
